According to the International Rubber Research Organization (IRSG) news, global rubber consumption will grow by about 4.5% this year, rubber demand will grow by 7.3% in 2012.
IRSG in the rubber statistical bulletin and rubber industry research report said that due to strong demand for tire recovery vehicles, rubber demand in 2010 was 24 million 600 thousand tons. It is expected that in 2011 the total rubber demand will reach 25 million 700 thousand tons, in 2012 will reach 27 million 600 thousand tons.
IRSG predicts that global synthetic rubber demand in 2011 will grow by 5% in 2012 will grow by 9%, while natural rubber consumption in 2011 will grow by 3.8% in 2012 will grow by 5.4%. Assuming normal growth conditions and sustained high prices, 2011 natural rubber production will grow by 5.6% in 2012 will grow by 8.2%.
IRSG said that the production of synthetic rubber in 2009 to 2010, an increase of 14.1%, while natural rubber production grew by $7.2%.
